Explore Sector One
Yep, that's right, you can now explore Sector One and search for exclusive and rare pets! You can also find the odd item lying around. We have found an awesome new capturing device... SQUIDS! Quite self-explanatory really, squids...suckers. (But not harmful to the pets of course!) Head on over to Settlement One (explore map) and get searching!

Blazing Monna
The Monna can now become blazing!

New Layout!
That's right, in case you hadn't noticed, we have a brand new layout! It's liquid fit and everything. XD
Now Daylight Pets works reaaally well on Internet Explorer and most (if not all) other browsers. Enjoy exploring the new layout! Any problems you find with it, please go to the forums.
Furthermore, a few new nifty features, the 'Updates' link becomes bold when there's a new update that you haven't read yet, if you have money in your shop till, it will be displayed on the right hand side menu and finally you can now see your avatar on every page you visit!

Blazing Pets!
That's right, there's a cool new pet look which makes pets look really cool. The Blazing Ribbon when given to a pet makes it look blazing! At the moment it only works on: Grembles, Cains, Aiees, Faerels and Spikes!
Check the auctions for some going cheap(ish)!!!
Updates for Jul 10th, 2010:
Uh oh, Cruithnean Centurions!
Like documented on Earth, on Cruithne, there are also Centurion-like warriors, though obviously with a slight alien twist. They are much stronger than previous enemies encountered, so you'll need to make sure your pet is strong enough before taking them on!

New Market Layout
Pretty self-explanatory really, there's now a shop banner for each shop which is pretty groovy. Also, location specific shops will shortly be appearing on their respective explore pages.
PS: You now select your avatar via a link on the "Profile/Settings" page. Also, the xP and Penny Shop now work properly. :)
Updates for Jul 8th, 2010:
Avatars!
That's right, avatars are back, but they are definitely not what they used to be! Now, avatars are like items, which you can buy/sell in shops and also (hopefully soon) find around the site! However, once you've created an Avatar Collection then you can put your avatars into it and then choose one which will appear on your profile and forums etc!
There are some avatars that are easier to get, sold in the new Avatar Shop!

Edit Profile? Working?!?!
Been wondering why it said you're 2010 years old? And that you registered in 1969? Well no problemo, that is now fixed!
New members now automatically have correct birthdates and register dates however if you are an existing member and still cannot edit your profile please contact me or post it in the new profile problems section in the forums, here.
You may have been thinking over the last few months, "What's happened to Daylight Pets? :(" But now, it's back and bigger than ever! We're now riddled with new/now working features, like; Callie's Quests, Beanie Collections, Lunas, Beanies, xP Shop, New layout of course and more!
Remember, get referring to help our site grow!

A Beanie Collection You Say?
Yep, that's right. You know those beanies we have kicking around over Daylight Pets? They're now collectable! You can open a Beanie Collection like you would a gallery (under the 'Personal' menu.) Only beanies can go into the collection so get collecting! [When we have more members/I have more patience, there will be Beanie Collector awards/trophies so start collecting now and you'll be sure to have one.
Also, Lunas now work (again) so your pet can have their own little buddy when you're not around. >.<
(Sorry for the overuse of the word 'collect')
